'A Night without a tux'

The staff at Hartzell Eye Specialist would like to give a big 'Thank You' to Dr. Hartzell for taking us to the Safe Harbor Gala to benefit the homeless and underprivileged community of Carlisle. Safe Harbor is a non-profit organization that houses the homeless as well as offers programs to help them have a smooth transition into permanent housing and help find steady employment.

The staff was able to dress up and enjoy a great evening of fine dining, music and dancing along with a silent auction. We had the privilege of listening to well-renowned cartoonist and motivational speaker, Robb Armstrong. Aside from being extremely hilarious, Mr. Armstrong demonstrated his drawing skills in regard to his syndicated coming strip 'Jump Start', that references the struggles of homeless families in relation to his own story and challenges growing up.
